Volunteer Abroad: Top Countries to visit on the Covid Green List

Travelling in itself truly feeds the soul, gives you that self-fulfillment and even a chance for self discovery! But what could turn simple travels into meaningful journeys? You can leave a profound mark everywhere you go as you explore the world when you volunteer abroad.

Volunteering gives you a chance to be fully immersed in the Country you’re visiting.  You get to lend a helping hand as well as contribute to change in that community. Volunteering abroad enables an adventure like no other and a chance to make a positive difference. What more can you ask for?

Volunteer abroad programs can range from caring for animal shelters to specialisations such as health. So, if you’re an individual with a background in health, a specialised program could be the right fit for you. If you’re a student on a gap year, you can opt for programs that aim to enrich your learning experience. Let’s say you’re studying marine biology, there are Countries that offer programs that support underwater clean up efforts. Sounds like the perfect trip, don’t you think?

Here at Ok Away we not only promote travelling to new places for you to explore, but we care about your safety. With that said, COVID-19 has shifted the way society moves. Some Countries are yet to recover from the chaos created by the pandemic, making it unsafe for your health. Not to mention the travel restrictions and hassle-filled process to enter the Country and return back home.

But fret not! We’ll be featuring Green List Countries with the best Volunteer Abroad Programs. So, this list only features safe Countries to visit with quality programs, the cream of the crop!

So, what are Green List Countries?
These are the countries and territories that the U.K Government (and other Governments) see as being safe to visit without the need to quarantine on return. So far, there are 36 places around the world that are now on the green list.

Although these Green List Countries may not require quarantining, a PCR Test for travel is still a safety requirement.
